About Us

Bryan and Kari met on a blind date in the fall of 1996 and quickly knew their lives were meant to be shared. They were engaged soon after and married in August 1997. Today, they call Tennessee home and are grateful parents of four children: two adult sons and two daughters. Their family grew in 2024 with the joyful addition of a wonderful daughter-in-law. Over the years, they have also opened their hearts and home as foster parents to 11 incredible children.

Bryan has faithfully served in ministry for more than 26 years. After graduating from Mississippi State University, he began his career as a teacher and coach before answering God’s call to full-time ministry. He later earned his master’s degree from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary and has served in numerous leadership roles, including Student and College Pastor, Assimilation Pastor, Family Pastor, Small Group Pastor, and Education and Outreach Pastor.

After graduating from Mississippi College, Kari joined Bryan in ministry, supporting him wholeheartedly while serving in many roles of her own. She has been active in music ministry through choir and praise team, led women’s ministry and foster care ministry, served as a preschool director, and worked as a social media manager. Before marriage, Kari had the unique honor of traveling across Mississippi as Miss Mississippi 1996 and a Top Ten finalist at Miss America. That year provided countless opportunities to encourage and speak into the lives of others; an experience she still treasures. Today, she works as a contractor with FaithBridge Foster Care.

In 2012, Bryan and Kari founded Family Walk Ministries, which has allowed them to travel nationally and internationally, speaking on marriage and parenting and equipping families with biblical encouragement and practical tools. Bryan also published his second book, The Marriage Motivator, in 2021.

Together, they serve as Families Count mentors and are passionate about coming alongside struggling parents. Their heart is to help families recognize their worth and identity in Christ while providing the skills and support needed to build strong, healthy homes.

Above all, Bryan and Kari pray that God will continue to use their ministry to strengthen marriages and families for His glory, His fame, and His renown.
