Welcome to Family Walk.

Bryan and Kari met in the fall of 1996 on a blind date and shortly afterwards got engaged. They married in August of 1997. 

They have 4 children: 2 adult sons and 2 daughters. Bryan and Kari currently reside in Georgia.

Their oldest son recently married and they are thrilled to have a beautiful daughter-in-law.

They have also been foster parents to 11 wonderful children over the years. 

Bryan has served in ministry for more than 26 years. After graduating from Mississippi State University, he was a teacher and a coach for several years. Then he was called to the ministry and received his masters degree from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served as Student and College Pastor, Assimilation Pastor, Family Pastor, Small Group Pastor, Education and Outreach Pastor. That’s just to name a few. 

After graduating from Mississippi College, Kari joined him in serving in ministry over the years by supporting him first and foremost. She also served in the music ministry in choir and praise team, women’s ministry leader, foster care ministry leader, preschool director, and social media manager. Before they married, she had the honor of traveling the state of Mississippi after winning the title of Miss Mississippi 1996 (top ten finalist Miss America). It was one of the highlights of her life being able to encourage and speak to so many young people throughout that year.

They founded Family Walk ministry in 2012. They were able to travel nationally and internationally speaking on marriage and parenting. 

Bryan wrapped up all the publishing details with his second book, The Marriage Motivator in 2021.  They are praying the Lord will bless this book by using it to minister to many marriages and families for His glory, His fame, and His renown.
